The 864 x 544 area imager reads omnidirectionally at 360-degree roll, 40-degree pitch, and 40-degree skew, with a scanning distance to 43.30 in and operation under ambient light up to 100000 lux. A 3350 mAh Li-Ion battery powers wireless communications over the 910 MHz STAR Cordless System, with a maximum recharge time of 10 hours and a 150 mA input current. The 4-key display unit weighs 15.70 oz and operates from -4°F (-20°C) to 122°F (50°C) with up to 95% non-condensing humidity, and the IP65-rated chassis withstands 50 drops from 2.0 m / 6.6 ft onto concrete.
