Operating on 910 MHz via Datalogic's STAR Cordless System 2.0, the Datalogic PM9501-DAR910RB is a wireless handheld 2D imager with an autofocus Auto Range system that reads 1D and 2D barcodes from 6 in to more than 65 ft. The omni-directional LED imager covers a 14-degree horizontal by 11-degree field of view, with reading angles of 60-degree skew, 80-degree pitch, and 180-degree roll, and resolves Code 39 elements from 10 mil to 100 mil against a minimum print contrast of 15%. A display and 4-key keypad are fitted, and serial, USB, and keyboard wedge host interfaces are supported. The 3350 mAh Li-Ion battery recharges in 4.50 hours, while IP65 sealing and a drop rating of 50 drops from 2.0 m to concrete support the -4 degrees F (-20 degrees C) to 122 degrees F (50 degrees C) operating range for manufacturing, warehouse, asset tracking, and logistics use. The 1.07 lb yellow scanner also supports Aztec Code, Data Matrix, QR Code, PDF417, and a full range of postal and stacked symbologies.
