Its Auto Range omni-directional imager reads 1D and 2D barcodes from direct contact to 1 m, with a 360-degree roll angle, 40-degree pitch and 40-degree skew tolerance, a minimum print contrast of 15%, and DataMatrix element resolution down to 7.5 mil. White LED illumination operates in ambient light up to 100000 lux, and the scanner captures images in BMP, JPEG and TIFF formats. IP65 ingress protection and a drop specification of 50 drops from 2 m onto concrete underpin durability across an operating temperature range of -20 °C to 50 °C and storage to -40 °C. Supported symbologies span all standard 1D codes including GS1 DataBar, 2D formats such as Aztec Code, Data Matrix, QR Code and MaxiCode, stacked codes including PDF417 and MicroPDF417, and postal codes.
