Datalogic Magellan 900i Barcode Scanner, Black, Kiosk Mount, USB, 2D Area Imager, Omnidirectional

The Datalogic Magellan 900i is a corded presentation scanner engineered for high-volume point-of-sale, kiosk and service-counter environments where speed, reliability and ergonomics matter. Built around a 2D area imager with omnidirectional capture and adaptive red illumination, the 900i reads printed and on-screen 1D/2D barcodes, handles damaged or truncated labels and supports OCR and image capture workflows. Its compact presentation form factor, adjustable stand and optional kiosk or magnetic mounts make integration into tight counters and self-service stations straightforward, while Green Spot visual confirmation, audio feedback and commercial-grade protection ensure consistent, user-friendly operation in retail, pharmacy and hospitality settings.

Key Features

• Omnidirectional 2D imaging: Fast, reliable capture of 1D and 2D barcodes without precise alignment, reducing transaction time at busy checkouts.
• Adaptive illumination & feedback: Adaptive red illumination plus Green Spot visual confirmation and audio feedback improve first-pass read rates and operator confidence.
• Flexible deployment: Presentation and handheld operating modes with adjustable stand, kiosk mount and magnetic mounting options for compact counters or self-service kiosks.
• Robust for daily use: IP52 ingress protection, ESD protection and a no-moving-parts design deliver dependable performance in commercial retail and service environments.
• Extended functionality: Image capture and OCR support expand use beyond barcode decoding for ID capture and documentation workflows.
