MGL2200VS RS-232 STD COUNTER MOUNT PSU US PC DB9 4.5 M CBL

SKU:

M220E-00111-01040R

The Datalogic M220E-00111-01040R ships in the standard configuration with a US power supply, standard counter mount, and a DB9 RS-232 cable at 4.5 m — making serial the sole host interface for this unit. Built around a vertical, desktop form factor measuring 6 in tall, 3.8 in wide, and 6 in deep, it weighs 2.50 lb and scans at a distance of up to 6 in. Symbology coverage spans all standard 1D linear codes through auto-discrimination, plus GS1 DataBar Linear, GS1 DataBar Expanded Stacked, GS1 DataBar Stacked, and GS1 DataBar Stacked Omni-directional — the full GS1 DataBar family for retail POS environments. The Magellan 2200VS platform targets medium-to-high transaction volume checkout in compact counter spaces such as drug, convenience, and specialty stores. A 3-year limited warranty covers the unit.

Description
ico-plus ico-minus
The Datalogic Magellan 2200VS is a wired, on-counter vertical presentation barcode scanner built for retail point-of-sale environments where counter space is limited and transaction throughput matters. Designed specifically for drug stores, convenience stores, smaller to medium-sized grocery stores, DIY stores, and specialty stores, it uses a laser light source with a linear scan pattern across 20 scan lines and a 6,000 rpm motor speed to deliver fast, consistent reads of all standard 1D and GS1 DataBar linear codes. FirstStrike advanced decoding software improves first-pass read rates on damaged, wrinkled, or poorly printed labels, reducing checkout friction. Flash memory enables in-field firmware upgrades to extend the scanner's service life, while a multi-interface design supporting Serial, USB, IBM 46xx, and Keyboard Wedge connections ensures compatibility with a broad range of existing POS host systems. A powered auxiliary RS-232 port allows easy integration of a handheld scanner, and optional EAS compatibility and Diagnostic Reporting further extend its value in demanding retail deployments.
