Configured as a scanner-only, shelf-mount unit, the Datalogic 9810210220-04310 is an 11.5-inch-wide in-counter barcode reader built for retail, self-service and self-checkout environments. Its imager-based sensor array reads both 1D and 2D bar codes using LED illumination, tolerating ambient light up to 86080 lux and air electrostatic discharge of ±25kV. Grayscale image capture outputs BMP and JPEG formats, while an integrated infrared interface and Sensormatic and Checkpoint EAS support broaden its compatibility with loss-prevention systems. The aluminium chassis operates from 50°F (10°C) to 104°F (40°C) and stores from -40°F (-40°C) to 158°F (70°C), with non-condensing humidity rated at 5% to 95%. Maximum operating power draw is 12 W. Remote management is supported via OPOS, JavaPOS, IBM Director and Wavelink Avalanche; cable is sold separately.
