Fitted with HSPA+ 3G cellular alongside IEEE 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, the Datalogic 944400003 delivers multi-radio connectivity in a pocketable handheld terminal running Microsoft Windows Embedded Handheld 6.5. An XScale PXA310 processor clocked at 806 MHz pairs with 256 MB RAM and 512 MB Flash, with a microSD/microSDHC card slot available for additional storage. The 2.7-inch color LCD touchscreen runs at QVGA resolution (320 x 240), and a 27-key numeric keypad supports scan-intensive workflows. The integrated 2D imager reads both 1D and 2D symbologies, while GPS, a 3 MP camera, an accelerometer for automatic display orientation, status LEDs and a vibration alert round out the feature set. A Lithium Ion battery powers the unit, and a 48-inch drop specification to concrete reflects its rugged build alongside an IP54 ingress rating.
