Bluetooth wireless connectivity is the defining feature of the Datalogic 901601042, a handheld barcode scanner supplied as a kit with scanner and omni-directional base unit — power supply and interface cable not included. The CMOS image sensor resolves codes down to 6.60 mil and reads both 1D and 2D symbologies, covering Code 128, Code 39, Code 93, EAN-128, UPC/EAN/JAN, Codabar, RSS, PDF 417, QR Code, Composite Code and a full range of postal formats including Postnet, PLANET, Australian Post, Japanese Post and Royal Mail RM4SCC. A laser light source enables omni-directional scanning without supplemental illumination. The multi-interface host connection supports USB, serial and keyboard wedge configurations, and the unit operates at 12 V DC. At 11.82 oz, the scanner carries Class 2 laser certification under IEC 825-1 and CDRH standards, and is backed by a 2-year limited warranty.
