Configured with a serial host interface and shipped in red, the Honeywell 1920IDPM-3SER is a corded handheld area-imaging scanner built around a multi-illumination system that cycles through low-angle direct lighting and integrated-diffuser indirect lighting to read dot peen, laser-etched and otherwise difficult direct part marks on shiny, round or highly reflective surfaces. It handles 1D, stacked, 2D and postal symbologies, making it a single-device solution from the production line through the warehouse. The IP65-rated chassis survives 5,000 tumbles from 1 m (3.2 ft) and operates at temperatures as low as -30 degrees C (-22 degrees F). Measuring 7.6 in tall, 5.3 in long and 2.9 in wide, it weighs 11.01 oz and suits automotive, pharmaceutical, defense and aerospace DPM scanning workflows. A 3-year limited warranty is included.

The Honeywell Granit 1920i is an industrial-grade handheld Direct Part Mark (DPM) area-imaging scanner built for quality engineers, traceability teams, and operations personnel working in the most demanding environments. Designed to read virtually any direct part mark — including dot peen and laser-etched codes on shiny, round, or highly reflective surfaces — it relies on an innovative multi-illumination system with low-angle direct lighting and an integrated diffuser to optimally illuminate marks regardless of surface or contrast. The scanner also captures standard 1D and 2D barcodes on printed labels, making it a single solution across the entire workflow, from production line to warehouse. With an IP65 rating, tolerance for 50 drops to concrete from 2 m (6.5 ft), 5,000 tumbles from 1 m (3.2 ft), and an operating range of -30°C to 50°C (-22°F to 122°F), it is well suited to automotive, aerospace, defense, electronics, and pharmaceutical environments. USB, Serial, and Keyboard Wedge interfaces ensure straightforward integration with existing host systems.
