Operating on Datalogic's STAR 2.0 Cordless System at 433 MHz, the QM2131-BK-433K1 delivers narrow-band wireless communications that avoid Wi-Fi interference and maintain reliable signal through obstacles such as concrete walls and metal shelving. The 1D linear imager captures barcodes at 400 scan/s, including all standard 1D codes, GS1 DataBar linear and stacked variants, EAN/JAN Composites, GS1 DataBar Expanded Stacked, and UPC A/E Composites. Reading angles reach 70 degrees skew, 65 degrees pitch and 45 degrees roll, while a maximum ambient light tolerance of 120000 lux and a minimum print contrast of 25% support performance across varied scan environments. The handheld chassis weighs 6.70 oz and carries an IP42 ingress protection rating, withstanding repeated drops from 1.5 m onto concrete. Serial, USB and Keyboard Wedge host interfaces are supported, and the kit ships with a USB cable, charging cradle and transmitter cradle in black.
