The Datalogic QuickScan QD2131 is a corded handheld linear imager designed for retail, point-of-sale checkout, document processing, public administration, banking, utilities, and commercial services environments. Built on an imager platform, it delivers a 56° +/- 2° field of view and an extra-long scan line that make short work of long linear barcodes — a common challenge in utility billing, packaging, and document workflows. The scanner autodiscriminates all standard 1D codes including GS1 DataBar linear and stacked variants, and can read codes from mobile phone screens, supporting mobile marketing applications at the point of sale. Datalogic's patented Green Spot technology projects good-read confirmation directly onto the code, reducing mis-scans. Weighing just 150 g / 5.3 oz, the ergonomic housing withstands repeated drops from 1.5 m / 5.0 ft and carries an IP42 particulate and water sealing rating, backed by a 5-year factory warranty.
