The Intermec SD62-SU001 ships as a USB kit, pairing the SD62 wireless base station with a USB cable and running on 5 V DC input. It connects a wired USB host to as many as seven Intermec Bluetooth handheld scanners — including SR61B, SF61B and SG20B — over Bluetooth 2.1 at 2.40 GHz, with an indoor antenna range of 984.3 ft. Communication is bi-directional: if barcode data fails to reach the host, the base station triggers an error beep at the scanner to confirm the loss. The desktop-form-factor unit weighs 5.29 oz and measures 4 in wide by 4.5 in deep by 1.4 in tall, with an LED indicator for status monitoring. Certifications include FCC Class A, EMC Class A and B, EN 60950, EN 300 328, cUL and VDE, and the unit carries a 1-year limited warranty.
