The CK71AB4MN00W1100 pairs dual-band IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n WLAN with Bluetooth in a handheld terminal rated to survive drops of 2.4 m to concrete -- or 1.8 m to concrete across -20°C to 60°C -- and ESD events up to 15kV DC air discharge and 8kV DC direct discharge. An EX25 imager reads both 1D and 2D barcodes, backed by a 1 GHz OMAP 3 processor, 512 MB of RAM and 1 GB of flash, with a microSD slot for additional storage. The 3.5-inch color VGA touchscreen resolves at 480 x 640, and a numeric keyboard rounds out the input options. A 5200 mAh Li-Ion battery ships included. At 1.29 lb and measuring 9.3 in long by 3.1 in wide by 2 in deep, with WPA2, AES, TKIP and 802.1x wireless security and Microsoft Windows Embedded Handheld 6.5, this unit targets warehouse, distribution and manufacturing workflows.
