The FEIG Extended Barcode Wearable HyWEAR compact xT makes manual material handling processes more efficient by freeing both hands to perform work. The HyWEAR compact xT''s powerful optical engine identifies 1D and 2D barcodes and is installed on a comfortable handcuff, leaving the user?s fingers, hand and arm free to move. The scanning process is triggered simply by thumb using a tactile switch, additional visual feedback via the clearly visible status LEDs as well as the vibration feedback and acoustic signals ensure maximum process reliability and minimize the risk of incorrect scans. HyWEAR compact xT works without special receiving stations and can be integrated immediately into existing process chains. Several devices can be connected directly to the Ethernet within a radio cell via WLAN. HyWEAR compact xT is equipped with a high performance barcode scan engine that enables the acquisition of all common barcode types with an extended scan area. For the employees, this means much more ergonomic work steps.
