The Zebra LS2208-SR20001R-KR ships as a keyboard wedge kit, bundling the white LS2208 handheld laser scanner with a 7 ft. straight PS/2 keyboard wedge cable and a presentation stand, making it a ready-to-deploy configuration for point-of-sale and similar host-connected applications. Powered at 5 V DC, the scanner reads 1D barcodes at 100 scan/s using a bi-directional linear laser, reaching a depth of field of 17 in. at 100% UPC/EAN. Supported symbologies span 15 formats including UCC/EAN 128, Code 39, Code 128, Codabar, Code 93, Code 11, Interleaved 2 of 5, RSS Variants and Chinese 2 of 5, with serial and Synapse interfaces also on board. The 5.15 oz handheld chassis measures 6 in. tall by 2.5 in. wide by 3.3 in. deep, manufactured in Mexico and RoHS compliant under directive 2002/95/EEC. Electrical safety certifications include UL1950, CSA C22.2 No. 950 and EN60950/IEC950; laser safety ratings meet CDRH Class II and IEC Class 2; EMI/RFI coverage includes FCC Part 15 Class B and ICES-003 Class B. The unit carries a 5-year limited warranty.
