Configured with a Keyboard Wedge host interface and a bundled power supply, the Honeywell MK5145-31B47 is a corded, single-line laser barcode scanner built around a CCD image sensor operating at 5 V DC. Maximum scan resolution reaches 4 mil, with depth-of-field ranges scaling from 0.375 in to 1.5 in at 4.1 mil up to 0 in to 7.125 in at 26 mil, giving it practical reach across a broad range of label sizes and distances. The scanner reads all standard 1D symbologies plus RSS-14, RSS-Limited and RSS-Expanded barcodes, and CodeGate technology lets operators target a specific barcode and trigger transmission with a button press -- useful in menu scanning, point-of-sale and document processing workflows. The handheld chassis weighs 3.41 oz and measures 6.7 in deep by 2.5 in wide by 1.4 in tall in black. Certifications include IEC 60825-1:1993+A1:1997+A2:2001 Class 1 laser, FCC and ICES-003 and EN55022 Class B EMC compliance.
