Bundled with an RS232-to-Ruby Verifone cable, manual, mounting plate, mounting kit, and two RS232 cables, the MK7120-31A62 is a desktop omnidirectional laser scanner in the Orbit MS7120 family configured specifically for RS232-connected Ruby Verifone point-of-sale environments. Its laser light source delivers a 20-line omni-directional scan pattern at 1,120 scans per second, with a maximum scan resolution of 5.20 mil and a programmable depth of field ranging from 1 in to 2 in at 5.2 mil, out to 0 in to 9.8 in at 26 mil. Eleven 1D symbologies are supported, including Code 39, Code 128, UPC/EAN/JAN, GS1 DataBar, Codabar, and Telepen. Host interface options extend to Keyboard Wedge, Serial, USB, and IBM 46XX, though a USB cable is sold separately. The black desktop chassis weighs 14.10 oz and measures 5.9 in tall by 4 in wide by 4.1 in deep. RoHS and WEEE compliance are standard.

The Honeywell Orbit 7120 is a hands-free omnidirectional laser presentation scanner designed for retail environments where counter space is at a premium, including convenience, liquor, and specialty stores. Operating at 1,120 scan lines per second with a patented 20-line omnidirectional scan pattern across 5 fields of 4 parallel lines, it delivers aggressive first-pass read rates for standard 1D and GS1 DataBar symbologies. Its award-winning contoured form factor — weighing just 400 g and measuring 105 mm x 102 mm x 150 mm — doubles as a handheld scanner for large or bulky items, while the 30° adjustable scan head adds flexibility for varied product sizes. USB and RS232 host interfaces, OPOS/JPOS compatibility, and user-replaceable cables simplify POS integration, and drop resistance to 1.2 m keeps the unit productive on busy checkout counters.
