The LED-illuminated imager delivers omnidirectional scanning at a 5 mil maximum scan resolution across a 4.02-inch scanning distance, reading both 1D and 2D symbologies including GS1 DataBar and codes from mobile phones or PDAs. IBM USB is the default interface configuration, with the USB cable supplied separately. The in-counter chassis measures 6 inches wide by 6 inches long by 3.4 inches deep and weighs 1.74 lb. Compliance covers RoHS and China RoHS, and the unit carries a 3-year limited warranty.

The Datalogic Magellan 3300HSi is a high-performance in-counter barcode scanner designed for high-volume point-of-sale environments in retail. Bringing imaging technology to the checkout counter, it delivers the speed and wide field-of-view associated with omnidirectional laser scanners while adding the advantages of a solid-state imager — with no laser modules or spinning motors to wear out. It reads all standard 1D linear codes, GS1 DataBar, and a full range of 2D and stacked symbologies, including Data Matrix, QR Code, Aztec Code, and PDF417, at up to 5 mil resolution. Both sweep and presentation scanning techniques are supported. A built-in Micro-SD card slot simplifies software management and firmware upgrades, while multiple host interfaces — including USB, RS-232, Keyboard Wedge, and IBM 46xx — ensure broad POS system compatibility. A 3-year factory warranty protects the investment.
