Configured with a KBW cable and mount with HS1250 fill kit, the Datalogic M230B-00502-07010R is a cabled, in-counter horizontal single-plane barcode scanner in the Magellan 2300HS family, weighing 2.43 lb. It autodiscriminates all standard 1D codes including GS1 DataBar Linear codes, and extends that capability to stacked symbologies: GS1 DataBar Stacked, GS1 DataBar Stacked Omnidirectional, and GS1 DataBar Expanded Stacked. Flash memory supports field software upgrades, and an auxiliary RS-232 port accommodates auxiliary handheld scanners, scanner configuration, and label data output. The scanner also supports Checkpoint EAS integration and Sensormatic EAS systems via that auxiliary port. RoHS environmental compliance is included, and the unit ships without a USB brick or cord, with USB cable sold separately. A 3-year limited warranty covers this configuration.

Built for retail operations in drug stores, convenience stores, grocery stores, DIY stores, and specialty retail, it delivers fast and reliable 1D barcode reading across a wide range of symbologies, including all standard 1D codes and GS1 DataBar linear and stacked codes. FirstStrike advanced software decoding algorithms accelerate scanning speed while improving first-pass read rates on damaged, wrinkled, or poorly printed labels — keeping checkout lines moving efficiently. Flash memory enables field software upgrades to protect the retailer's long-term investment, and a powered auxiliary RS-232 port simplifies integration of a handheld scanner or peripheral device. Serial and USB host interfaces are supported, and the unit carries a 3-year factory warranty.
