The Zebra ZE51143-L010000Z is a left-hand, direct thermal and thermal transfer print engine with field-installable RFID encoding, printing monochrome labels at up to 300 dpi and 14 in/s across a 4.09-inch print width, with maximum label widths to 4.49 inches and label lengths to 100 inches on media up to 9.84 mil thick. It accepts die-cut, continuous and black mark stock through both transmissive and reflective sensors, and carries 512 MB of standard memory paired with 512 MB of flash. A 4.3-inch color LCD touchscreen supports operation, while connectivity spans USB 2.0 with dual USB host, RS-232 serial, Fast Ethernet, and Bluetooth 4.1. ZPL, ZPL II and ZBI 2.0 emulation, a real-time clock, and a broad 1D and 2D symbology set including PDF417, Data Matrix, QR Code and Aztec are included. The fanless all-metal chassis operates from 31 degrees F to 104 degrees F and weighs 33.95 lb. Certifications include cTUVus, CE, FCC A and Energy Star, covering manufacturing, warehouse, healthcare and retail integration points.

Its all-metal, fanless construction resists debris and water ingress, while a 4.3 in. full-color LCD touch screen simplifies setup and operation with minimal training. Standard connectivity spanning USB 2.0, RS-232 Serial, 10/100 Ethernet, and Bluetooth 4.1 ensures straightforward integration into existing wired and wireless infrastructure. Optional field-installable UHF RFID encoding extends the engine's value into advanced asset tracking and traceability workflows, and ZPL/ZPL II compatibility keeps it at home in any established Zebra environment.
