The SE4710 reaches out to 30 in, with a 42-degree horizontal and 28-degree field of view, skew and pitch tolerance of 60 degrees each, 360-degree roll tolerance, and a maximum ambient light rating of 107,639 lux. Code 39 resolves down to 4 mil and up to 20 mil; DataMatrix reads to 10 mil and PDF417 to 5 mil; OCR-A and OCR-B are also supported. The IP65 enclosure withstands multiple 6 ft drops to concrete across the operating temperature range. RoHS and REACH compliance apply, and the scanner is backed by a 1-year limited warranty suited to warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, logistics and retail deployments.

Choice of SE4710 or SE4770 1D/2D standard-range imaging engines — powered by PRZM Intelligent Imaging and a megapixel sensor — ensures fast, accurate capture of even damaged or poorly printed barcodes across a comprehensive range of 1D, 2D, and OCR symbologies. IP65-sealed and drop-tested to 6 ft./1.8 m on concrete, the RS5100 weighs just 2.47 oz./70 g yet handles the rigors of industrial environments across full shifts, backed by a swappable PowerPrecision+ Li-ion battery that delivers up to 12 hours or 14,400 scans per charge.
