KT-2090-SD2000C14W is a starter kit configuration of the Zebra Symbol MT2090-SD handheld terminal, bundled with a charge-only cradle, USB cable, power supply, and US line cord. It runs Windows CE 5.0 on a 312 MHz XScale PXA270 processor backed by 64 MB RAM and 64 MB flash, and connects via IEEE 802.11a/b/g Wi-Fi and Bluetooth through internal antennas. The 2D standard-range imager reads an extensive symbology set spanning 1D formats including Code 39, Code 93, GS1 DataBar and UPC/EAN, 2D formats including DataMatrix/ECC 200, QR code, Aztec and Maxicode, PDF417 with composite codes, and eight postal formats. A QVGA color display at 320 x 240 resolution pairs with an alpha keypad, while the 2400 mAh Lithium Ion battery powers the 13.50 oz chassis -- measuring 7.8 in tall, 3.1 in wide and 5 in deep -- which is rated to survive 72-inch drops to concrete and electrostatic discharge up to 15kV DC air and 8kV DC direct contact.
