SKU:

DSE0420

Capturing images at 60 frames per second, the Datalogic DSE0420 is a modular 2D decoded scan engine built for embedding into host devices where space is constrained. Measuring 1.9 in deep by 1.6 in wide by 0.5 in tall and weighing just 0.71 oz, the module can be installed as a single unit mounted by a metal bracket or split, with the decoder board positioned remotely and connected to the scan engine via an industry-standard flat cable. The decoder board interfaces with a host through USB, supporting USB Keyboard, USB HID and USB COM. Symbology coverage spans all standard 1D codes including GS1 DataBar linear codes, 2D formats including Aztec Code, Data Matrix, QR Code, Micro QR Code, MaxiCode and China Han Xin Code, stacked codes including PDF417, MicroPDF417 and MacroPDF, and ten postal symbologies. A center-cross aiming system with four corner dots and steady white illumination support reliable reading of printed codes and codes displayed on screens.

The Datalogic DSE0420 is a miniature 2D decoded scan module designed for OEM integrators and hardware developers embedding barcode reading capability into space-constrained devices. Weighing just 20.0 g and measuring 13.65 H x 40.1 W x 47.86 D mm, it fits into self-service kiosks, all-in-one POS terminals, medical devices, lottery terminals, access control devices, and handheld terminals where footprint is critical. Its high-speed imager sensor captures images at 60 frames per second, delivering outstanding motion tolerance and excellent depth-of-field performance. The module autodiscriminates all standard 1D codes, plus 2D symbologies including QR Code and Data Matrix, postal codes, and stacked codes, and reads barcodes displayed on mobile device and computer screens. USB connectivity — supporting USB Keyboard, USB HID, and USB COM interfaces — simplifies integration with a host device's main board.
