Fitted with an SE965 1D laser end cap and a long alphanumeric keypad, the Zebra WA4L11010100020W runs Windows Embedded CE 6.0 on a Cortex A8 processor at 1 GHz, backed by 512 MB of RAM and 4 GB of flash storage. The 3.7-inch color VGA touchscreen resolves at 640 x 480, and a microSD card slot extends onboard storage further. IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n wireless connects the unit to enterprise networks, with security spanning WEP (40 or 104 bit), WPA/WPA2 Personal and Enterprise, EAP-TLS, EAP-FAST and AES. A 4400 mAh lithium-ion battery supports extended shifts, while the 1.16 lb chassis — measuring 8.8 in tall, 3.9 in wide and 1.7 in deep — is rated IP 65 per IEC 60529 and handles drops to 1.8 m onto concrete.
