Its multiple CMOS array imager reads a comprehensive range of 1D and 2D symbologies — including dirty, damaged, and poorly printed barcodes — as well as Digimarc-enhanced packaging, keeping checkout lanes moving at peak efficiency. A shared POS port supports USB, RS-232, and IBM RS-485 connectivity for straightforward integration with existing POS systems. The optional 2.3 Megapixel color camera extends the unit's value with produce recognition, loss prevention, and document capture capabilities.
