The Verkada BE32 is a cloud-managed alarm expander designed for IT and security teams that need to scale intrusion detection across large or multi-site facilities. It extends an existing Verkada alarm system by adding 8 wired input zones with 12V DC auxiliary power, a built-in VLink sub-GHz hub supporting up to 160 wireless sensors, and 1 relay output for sirens or strobes. Up to 4 BE32 units can be daisy-chained on a single RS485 port, consolidating wiring runs and simplifying installation in commercial, enterprise, and campus environments. Managed through the Verkada Command platform, it provides live sensor activity, interactive zone mapping, software-defined partitions, and automatic firmware updates — keeping security infrastructure current without manual intervention.
