Verkada AL54 Card Readers

The Verkada AL54 is a cloud-connected cylindrical smart lock designed for organizations seeking to replace traditional lock-and-key systems with centrally managed, credential-flexible access control. Suited for commercial offices, education, healthcare, and multi-door enterprise environments, it connects wirelessly to the Verkada ecosystem via the VLink protocol, reaching up to 150 ft with obstructions or up to 2000 ft with clear line of sight. Administrators manage all doors through Verkada Command — no additional software required — with the ability to trigger lockdowns or schedule changes instantly from a web browser or mobile device. End users can unlock doors using low-frequency proximity cards, high-frequency NFC credentials (including Apple Wallet), Bluetooth Low Energy intent unlock, or mobile NFC, all with sub-1-second credential validation. Interior and exterior LED and buzzer feedback confirm access status, while proactive alerts notify admins of offline devices, low battery, or forced-entry events. Backed by a ten-year warranty, IP65 and IK08 ratings, and UL294 compliance, the AL54 is built for demanding, long-term deployments.
