Configured with 64 MB of flash memory, USB and LAN connectivity, and a US power cord, the Datamax-O'Neil PAC-00-48000N04 is a direct thermal and thermal transfer label printer built around a 300 dpi printhead that runs at up to 10 in/s across a 4.27-inch print width. Auto-feed media loading accommodates labels up to 4.65 inches wide and 36 inches long on rolls to 8 inches in diameter, with support for die-cut, continuous, perforated, notched, fanfold, gap, tag, ticket stock and synthetic media types. The near-edge printhead extends compatibility to synthetics, self-adhesives, tags and plastics. PCL printer language operates independently of application software across PC and Mac platforms, while the color touchscreen simplifies on-site operation.
