SKU:

MS7820-118

With a maximum scan resolution of 5 mil, the Honeywell MS7820-118 is a dark gray desktop laser scanner built for omnidirectional 1D reading in small-item, high-volume retail environments. Its depth of field scales from 0 in to 1.8 in at 5.2 mil up to 0 in to 11.0 in at 26 mil, covering a wide range of barcode densities across the full linear and GS1 DataBar symbology set — including Code 128, Code 39, UPC-A, EAN-13, ISBT 128, ITF-14, and GS1 DataBar Expanded Stacked, among others. Serial, USB, and IBM 46XX host interfaces are supported, with an integrated RF EAS antenna providing Checkpoint and Sensormatic interlock compatibility out of the box. The scanner measures 6 in high by 6 in wide by 3.6 in deep and weighs 1.54 lb. Package contents include EAS cables for both Checkpoint and Sensormatic external connections. The MS7820-118 complies with RoHS and WEEE directives.

Description
ico-plus ico-minus
The Honeywell Solaris 7820 is a hands-free vertical mini-slot presentation scanner built for small-item, high-volume retail checkout environments. Its omnidirectional laser scan pattern — delivering 1800 scan lines per second across 5 fields of 4 parallel lines — allows cashiers to clear items on the first pass with minimal concern for orientation or barcode print quality, down to 5.0 mil bar codes. Compatible with USB and serial host interfaces and drawing power directly from the host's 12-volt USB or serial port, the 7820 integrates cleanly into most existing POS enclosures in convenience, drug, specialty, liquor, and grocery stores. A built-in RF EAS antenna with Checkpoint and Sensormatic interlock, a single-digit visual diagnostic indicator, and remote Flash upgrade capability help reduce on-site service costs and lower total cost of ownership.
