Fitted with both a peel-and-present option and an internal rewind, the Datamax-O'Neil KD2-00-46900Y00 is a direct thermal and thermal transfer label printer that handles monochrome output at 203 dpi and up to 6 in/s across a 4.25-inch print width. It accepts media up to 4.65 inches wide and 10 mil thick on rolls to 8 inches in diameter with a 3-inch core, and transmissive and reflective sensors cover die-cut, continuous, black mark, fanfold, perforated, ticket and continuous tag stock. An LCD graphic display supports daily operation, while 16 MB of DRAM and 8 MB of flash memory underpin PLZ, PLI and PLB emulation along with a broad 1D and 2D symbology set including PDF-417, Data Matrix, QR Code and Aztec Code. Serial, USB, parallel and Ethernet connectivity are included. The 27 lb chassis measures 10.2 in high by 10.1 in wide by 18.2 in deep, suited to warehouse, healthcare, logistics and retail environments where compact industrial printing is required.
