Configured with DB-9 serial and USB interfaces and supplied with a power supply, the Epson C31CA85A8870 is a direct thermal receipt printer that operates at 24 V DC and prints monochrome receipts at up to 11.81 in/s at 180 x 180 dpi across a 2.83-inch print width. It accepts roll paper up to 3.15 inches in diameter and 3.15 mil thick, with a maximum label width of 3.13 inches, and handles 56 columns per line. A USB host port extends peripheral connectivity, and 4 KB of standard memory supports receipt and roll paper workflows on both PC and Mac platforms. Barcode support spans UPC-A, UPC-E, Code 39, Code 128, EAN-13, PDF-417, QR Code, GS1 DataBar Expanded and additional symbologies. The 3.53 lb desktop chassis measures 5.8 in high by 5.7 in wide by 7.7 in deep and carries ENERGY STAR qualification alongside FCC/ICES-003 Class A and TUV (EN60950-1) certification, backed by a 4-year limited warranty.
