Description
The Datalogic SC6000 is an industrial controller designed for system integrators and automation engineers deploying omnidirectional and multi-side barcode reading tunnels in high-throughput environments. Built around a rugged alloy housing rated IP64, it manages cluster operations and host communication across sorting and scanning stations used in transportation and logistics, express courier and postal operations, large distribution centers, and baggage handling systems. Its built-in Ethernet, Profibus, and DeviceNet connectivity provides flexible integration into existing industrial networks, while a 20 x 4 character display and 6-key keypad deliver on-device diagnostics and statistics. Configuration is handled through the Windows-based GENIUS™ software tool via serial or Ethernet link, and removable Compact-Flash memory simplifies maintenance and scanner replacement without system downtime.
