The Datalogic SC4000 is an industrial ID-NET™ controller built for procurement and automation engineers who need centralized, high-speed barcode data collection across multi-station production and logistics environments. It connects up to 31 Datalogic 1D/2D code readers in a single ID-NET™ network, making it well suited for automated warehousing, work-in-progress control, and product traceability and quality control. Open architecture supports connectivity to Ethernet TCP/IP, Profibus, DeviceNet, Ethernet/IP, and other common fieldbus networks via optional modules, while WebSentinel™ software enables complete remote monitoring and diagnostics. An embedded Backup and Restore memory unit minimizes unplanned downtime, and the IP65 (NEMA 4) rated housing handles harsh industrial conditions across an operating temperature range of 0 to 50 °C.
