The Datalogic Magellan 2300HS is a horizontal in-counter single-plane barcode scanner engineered for medium to high volume point-of-sale environments. Built for retail operations in drug stores, convenience stores, grocery stores, DIY stores, and specialty retail, it delivers fast and reliable 1D barcode reading across a wide range of symbologies, including all standard 1D codes and GS1 DataBar linear and stacked codes. FirstStrike advanced software decoding algorithms accelerate scanning speed while improving first-pass read rates on damaged, wrinkled, or poorly printed labels — keeping checkout lines moving efficiently. Flash memory enables field software upgrades to protect the retailer's long-term investment, and a powered auxiliary RS-232 port simplifies integration of a handheld scanner or peripheral device. Serial and USB host interfaces are supported, and the unit carries a 3-year factory warranty.
