Its linear imager resolves barcodes down to 4 mil and reads omni-directionally across a depth of field that spans 0 in to 3.2 in at 7.5 mil on Code 39, 0 in to 4.7 in at 10 mil on Code 39, and 0 in to 6 in at 13 mil on EAN-13. Symbology support autodiscriminates all standard 1D codes including GS1 DataBar linear codes, GS1 DataBar Stacked, GS1 DataBar Stacked Omnidirectional, and GS1 DataBar Expanded Stacked. The black handheld chassis measures 6.3 in tall, 2.3 in wide, and 3.3 in deep, weighing 4.60 oz, and is manufactured in Vietnam — sized for low-throughput point-of-sale and inventory scanning tasks where direct workstation association is required.

The Datalogic Touch TD1100 is a corded handheld contact linear imager barcode scanner designed for organizations that need a cost-effective, reliable solution for low-throughput barcode reading. Suited to retail service points, banking and finance, public administration, and libraries, it delivers excellent reading performance on virtually all 1D and stacked linear codes, including damaged or poorly printed barcodes. Two reading window sizes — 6.5 cm / 2.6 in and 9.0 cm / 3.5 in — accommodate both standard and wide codes on documents, books, and utility bills. USB and RS-232 interface options ensure broad host compatibility, while a drop resistance of 1.5 m / 5.0 ft adds durability that exceeds typical entry-level expectations. The compact, lightweight design and an innovative 'read-thru' holder also support comfortable hands-free operation at the point of service.
