Configured with 256 MB RAM and 512 MB of flash memory, the Datalogic 942400001 is a pistol-grip handheld terminal running a 520 MHz XScale PXA270 processor with IEEE 802.11a/b/g wireless LAN and Bluetooth connectivity. Its standard-range laser scanner reads seventeen 1D symbologies including UPC A, UPC E, EAN 13, Code 39, Code 128, Codabar and Code 93, making it suited to retail store floors, stock rooms and warehouse picking applications. The 2.8-inch color QVGA LCD touchscreen resolves at 320 x 240, and a numeric keypad handles data entry. Expandable storage via CompactFlash and miniSD card slots supplements onboard memory, while a 2100 mAh Lithium Ion battery ships included. The chassis weighs 12.70 oz and withstands drops to 1.5m, air electrostatic discharge to 8kV DC and contact electrostatic discharge to 4kV DC.
