Fitted with a 910 MHz Datalogic STAR Cordless System radio, the Datalogic PM9501-HP910RBK10 is a handheld 1D/2D area-imaging scanner kit that reads omni-directionally from contact to over 1.0 m / 3.3 ft depending on barcode resolution. Its 1280 x 1024 imager resolves Data Matrix down to 4 mil and PDF417 down to 10 mil, with depth-of-field reaching 3.0 to 110.0 cm / 1.1 to 43.3 in at 40 mils, and accepts up to 100000 lux ambient light with a minimum print contrast of just 15%. Roll tolerance is 360 degrees, while skew and pitch each extend to 40 degrees. Symbology coverage spans all standard 1D codes, GS1 DataBar, Aztec, Data Matrix, QR, MaxiCode, PDF417 and stacked variants. The kit ships with the scanner, a removable 2150 mAh Li-Ion battery that recharges in 4 hours, a base station, USB cable, power adapter and power supply. Host interfaces include keyboard wedge, serial, USB and Ethernet. The IP65-rated, 14.60 oz chassis withstands 50 drops from 2.0 m / 6.6 ft onto concrete and operates from -4 degrees F (-20 degrees C) to 122 degrees F (50 degrees C). RoHS and REACH compliant, the PM9501-HP910RBK10 carries a 3-year limited warranty.

The Datalogic PowerScan PM9500 is a ruggedized cordless handheld 2D area imager designed for IT and operations teams deploying scanners in demanding industrial environments such as warehousing, manufacturing, logistics, and distribution. Powered by Datalogic's STAR Cordless System operating at 433 MHz or 910 MHz, it delivers wireless freedom with seamless roaming and point-to-point or multi-point configurations supporting up to 32 readers per radio receiver. Its omni-directional imaging engine reads all standard 1D and 2D codes, including direct part marks, from contact up to over 1.0 m depending on barcode resolution. An IP65-rated housing and drop resistance of 2.0 m / 6.6 ft onto concrete ensure reliable operation in harsh settings, while a removable Lithium-Ion battery rated for 30,000+ scans per charge supports more than one full shift of intensive scanning. Ethernet, RS-232, and USB interfaces simplify integration into existing host systems.
