The OMAP 3 processor runs at 600 MHz backed by 512 MB of RAM and 1 GB of flash storage, with an SD card slot available for additional capacity. Its 2D imager reads 1D, 2D, PDF, Standard UPC and Data Matrix symbologies, while a numeric keypad and touchscreen-enabled 3.5-inch VGA color display at 480 x 640 resolution support flexible data entry. The included 5200 mAh Lithium Ion battery powers a unit measuring 6.7 in tall, 3.1 in wide and 1.4 in deep at 15.87 oz, and the chassis withstands drops to concrete from 72 in, with air ESD tolerance of 15kV DC and direct ESD tolerance of 8kV DC. WPA and WPA2 wireless security are supported, and the unit ships with battery included.
