LED illumination handles ambient light up to 86080 lux, and the unit carries 25kV air electrostatic discharge tolerance. Grayscale image capture outputs BMP and JPEG formats, while Checkpoint and Sensormatic EAS support and diagnostic reporting address loss-prevention requirements. The USB host interface draws a maximum of 12 W, and the black chassis measures 14 in long by 11.5 in wide, operating across 50°F (10°C) to 104°F (40°C) with non-condensing humidity from 5% to 95%.

The Datalogic Magellan 9300i is a high-performance in-counter barcode scanner designed for retail checkout environments, including traditional POS lanes and self-checkout kiosks. Its digital imager reads both 1D and 2D barcodes seamlessly across all scanning planes, eliminating the need for cashiers to orient items — accelerating throughput and reducing errors at the point of sale. A traditional bonnet height with large horizontal and vertical windows allows optimum positioning alongside touchscreens, payment terminals, and printers, while maintaining ergonomic comfort for both seated and standing cashiers. Connectivity via Serial, Powered USB, and IBM 46XX interfaces ensures broad POS system compatibility, and optional ScaleSentry shrink monitoring technology makes the 9300i a capable loss-prevention tool for grocery and general retail operations. A 1-Year Factory Warranty is included.
