Description
USB adapter cables from ID Tech take keyboard wedge output and convert it to USB/keyboard input, allowing the connection of a standard keyboard interface device to the USB port of a host computer. By plugging the device's connector into the adapter, and the other end of the adapter into one of the host's USB input ports, data from the reader will appear to the host as if entered via the keyboard. An ID Tech USB cable is fully functional on a USB-equipped IBM PC or PC-compatible running Windows 98 or 2000, or on an Apple computer running Mac OS 8.1 and above.
